The Spencer Roofing Co. installed a new roof on our church during the month of December 2002. They did a complete removal of existing shingles and replaced numerous wood boards before the new shingles could be installed. All of the work was done to our complete satisfaction. Many extra improvements were made that were not listed in their contract. Their clean-up was perfect. It should also be mentioned that their personnel were extremely helpful, courteous, and above all very likable. From the initial contact regarding your quote, to the final installation, everything was handles in a professional and courteous manner. The crew sent to install our roof was top notch. Not only did they do a good job of shoveling the snow off our old roof, they also cleaned up the sidewalk when they were done shoveling the roof. From the time they showed up to tear off the old roof, to the time the last push of the broom was made during cleanup, nothing could be found to complain about. They took good care of my landscaping, my driveway, the deck and everything in between. The cleanup was extremely efficient given the snow they had to work around. I am writing to thank Spencer Roofing for making the roofing of my house a very good experience. I approached the project with some trepidation, but was determined to do my homework and get a professional job at a fair price. I decided to obtain bids for six of the high-profile roofing companies in the area, confident they would have the proper tools and knowledge to do the job right. At the end of the selection process, Spencer was among the lowest bidders and the only contractor to offer a ten-year guarantee. The day of the actual roofing process, I knew I had made the right choice with Spencer Roofing. A clean cut, mature and adequately staffed crew was all business and promptly had the old double layer roof off. Everyone knew their assignment and the new roofing material components began to be applied. I was advised of repairs or exceptions along the way and exactly how they would be handled.
